My Poetry

Oasis

Silently,
The autumn is unveiling
My conspiracy,
For I left myself on a cliff walk,
Looking at the water from the mountaintop.
Let's have a wine cocktail
To ruin balance in the midst of intimacy,
And make the walk uncertain.
Let's remain indefinitely--
Fragile and irrelevant--
Embraced by the fleeting foliage. . . .
Let's wait until the cold winter
To appreciate the difference.
In time, the spring will
Bring confusion upon us,
And the summer will linger in reminiscence.
Let's pause--breathing through every season
Without waiting for resolution.
You ask if I want to be a tree. . . .
I say, no, I want to be free.
