Creative Harmony since May 2005
Our events at Dillon's have
been a huge success. They consisted of performances
and presentations by singers, songwriters, comedians,
poets, artists, and dancers.
We have even had business people who do both—sing AND talk about what they did for living! Carol Froehlich-Hull was one of them.
The initial plan was to have networking-improvisation sessions in between performances, but everyone enjoyed the creative part so much that there was almost no time to socialize. However, amazing collaborations did take place. For instance, Sarah Steinberg, a captivating singer-songwriter and pianist collaborated with the number of singers whom she accompanied on the piano.
The singers included Carol Froehlich-Hull, who gave a unique rendition of “Summer Time,” Yakov Baris a well-known Israeli singer-songwriter and cantor, and many others. There was also a birthday celebration! Carol Froehlich-Hull (accompanied by Sarah Steinberg) serenaded Purnimu Prabhu, an enchanting poet with a warm and loving personality who was celebrating her birthday that evening, with the unforgettable soprano-coloratura version of “Happy Birthday.” Linda Meris, a spunky Manhattan comedian, touched upon a blessing and a curse of being single in New York, and her monologue truly hit home with the creative audience.
….And there was SO much more….
Creative Harmony is the harmony of unique talents, unexpected collaborations, and blending of diversely-creative worlds.
